The way I gave you everything
I showed you what I was all about
How I made you smile
Before those tears could even come out
I’m the only one like me, nice guys are hard to find
I never cheated on you, I never had to lie
The compliments I gave you are too big of an amount
They’re like the rhymes in this poem, there’s too many to count
You were constantly calling
But I answered every time
I made sure you knew you were beautiful
But you think you’re the victim of a crime
You gave up too soon
You left me behind
I’m not the winner, but you’re the one who loses
I’m not listening to you talk, I’m just hearin’ excuses
All the money, all the surprises and gifts
The ring on your finger was me handing you my heart
You made the wrong decision
You tore it apart.
