NHTSA Prepares Pilot Program For Autonomous Cars

According to Automotive News, self-driving cars may be on US roads for a limited pilot program.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the pilot program will foster a safe introduction of autonomous vehicles to US highways and roads.
But a document from the NHTSA indicated they are still considering aspects of the program, including the public release of crashes and accidents.
Also, the autonomous vehicles that will participate in the program have not been determined.
