Natalie's Story:
I am Natalie Hilder, the co-founder of NH Elixir Skin-Care, with Joy Case and Greg Clark.
In 2010 I experienced some health challenges that made me realize the importance of using
100% natural skin-care products, but I also wanted to use a product that would be as effective
as it was luxurious. I researched beauty secrets from ancient Egypt and other parts of the
Middle East to create a product that I felt provided me with the incredible results I was looking,
for while being completely safe. The ingredients work synergistically to deal with a variety of
skin issues from acne to rosacea to signs of aging and more. People usually notice a change in
their skin early on, which becomes more pronounced with time.
Yet it wasn't until January 2015 that I finally had the courage to commit to truly stepping into this
entrepreneurial journey. I had been involved in politics for several years and had also started an
online blog dedicated to sharing people's perspectives on political and social issues from all
over the world. But after experiencing on-going harassment from some males in the workplace
(as a female staffer in a political office it was clear that many of those in power often paid more
attention to my gender than to my skills, talents and work ethic,) and some terrorist threats
(according to initial police investigation) due to my blog for freedom of speech in part authored
by several leaders in other countries, I decided that the time to empower myself had come. That
month I left my job and decided to start NH Elixir. I shared my idea with Joy and Greg and we
decided to join forces. They stepped in, helping to make this happen.
At first I wanted to go into business to empower myself, but I soon realized how my product,
health tips/advice and my personal story could also serve as a catalyst for empowering other
women of all ages and nationalities, all over the world. My story does not only belong to me.
Far too often women experience equal and far greater challenges, and I feel that my purpose is
ultimately about inspiring others to overcome their challenges so that they can reach their full
potential.
