Neymar signs 5-year contract with Barca

MANILA, Philippines – Brazil’s striker Neymar has signed a five-year contract with La Liga giants FC Barcelona. Barca beat archrivals Real Madrid to the highly rated 21-year-old’s signature last weekend after almost three years of interest from Europe’s top clubs. Barcelona said the deal was sealed at $74.6-million. Clad in Barca’s jersey, Neymar stepped into the impressive Camp Nou stadium for the first time, with 50,000 fans on site.
