New York clears protesters from park

Protesters and police face off in New York as the city evicts Occupy Wall Street demonstrators.

Police have arrested about 70 people who defied the order to leave.
Authorities said the makeshift camp presents a health risk, and sanitation workers feed tarps and tents into garbage trucks.
The New York protest against the country's financial system has spawned an international movement, with other U.S. cities including Oakland, California and Portland, Oregon also moving to clear protesters from public spaces this week.
But the demonstrators insist they will continue to fight what they say is a corrupt corporate America that favours the wealthy.
