New Year's Eve gets world premiere

A veritable who's who of Hollywood's hottest stars came out for the world premiere of the film "New Year's Eve".
It's the latest film from "Pretty Woman" director Gerry Marshall, who's using a tried-and-tested formula for box office success.
Take a national holiday and get the world's biggest stars to perform different scenerios about the meaning of life.
Among the situations includes a couple preparing to give birth, two people getting stuck in an elevator, and a man trying to enjoy his last New Year's before dying.
The formula worked on last year's hit "Valentine's Day".
This movie sees a bevy of ladies including Michelle Pfeiffer, "Modern Family'" Sofia Vergara, Lea Michelle, and Fergie.
Hilary Swank says she tries to live every day as if it's the last of the year.
SOUNDBITE: Hilary Swank, Actress, saying (English):
"You know I try and live every day as an opportunity to have a resolution, you know, to be better. Or to be more in the moment. Or to love more. But you know sometimes the year gets away from you so it's nice to have a new year to have a second chance."
For the guys - Ashton Kutcher and Ludicris are amongst the line-up.
Their fellow actors Zac Efron and Josh Duhamel talked about the meaning of the holiday for them.

The movie will be out in several European territories on Thursday (December 4) and the United States on Friday (December 9).
