Pastor Carmen sharing from Genesis 19:12-15, 20-26 -- Some may say Lord I know you did this and that & brought me from here and there, but please don't make me go to another level. I know you have been merciful and where would I be without you on my side, BUT (just like Lot did not want to go to the mountain).
Sometimes we try to rationalize why we don't want to go the next level (like you really know what is going to meet you there), so sometimes we try to cut a deal with God.
We tell the Lord we are ready to come out of sin, out of bondage, out of lack, but we want to make a lateral move rather than go higher.
