Mahindra has confirmed that the new-generation Thar SUV will go on sale in India in early-October 2020. The new-generation Mahindra Thar is expected to come with a host of features and equipment, along with a significant change to its design as well.

The new-generation Mahindra Thar is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel unit. It will come mated to a manual gearbox.
