Nenia Haven - Heartless

One day she woke with a start
there was something missing
'oh where oh where is my heart? '
the gaping hole in her chest brought her up to speed
she found that even with no heart she could still think breathe and bleed
though she was quite absent-minded
she could not figure out where her heart had went or even how to find it
she called up an old friend who was a known thief
to inquire about her lost heart
the conversation was brief
'i've turned over a new leaf i no longer steal
i want to be a doctor maybe i can help you heal'
she cried out in dismay her words almost a song
she exclaimed 'but to live without a heart is oh so very wrong'
