Nelipot (comprised of Jordan, Jordyn, and Benjamin) is a young, genre-hopping, three-piece band from the ocean-side region of the Central Coast, NSW, Australia. The boys began as buskers on the streets, making music to fill their stomachs and their insatiable hunger for grooves. Quickly they took their tunes from the streets to stages, playing across the east-coast from Victoria to Queensland, supporting exploding national acts, such as; Kingswood, Bootleg Rascal, Tired Lion, Ocean Alley, and Alpine.
The boys are driven by their addiction to music and performance, ever striving to play better and bigger. Already they have played on bills curated by the MCA for Sydney’s Vivid Exhibition , and boutique music festival line-ups such as; Sweaty Palms Festival, Long Jetty Street Festival, Mountain Sounds Presents, and have been listed for Mountain Sounds Festival 2017 (headlined by RUFUS, DMA’s, & Hermitude). That being said, their music captures and retains their coastal roots, blending blues, funk & alternative rock compositions into effortlessly brilliant live shows.
As well as an impressive live presence, Nelipot has also been featured on many community radio programs such as Bondi Beach Radio, Star 104.5, Fbi 94.5, and SYN 90.7 where they were the feature artist of the week. Their single Coming Coast was also played internationally on American and European radio stations, such as; Radio ONE 91FM – MD, KCRW 89.9 FM, KEXP 90.3 FM, Mersey radio, Nusakan radio, and Arizona rock 102FM.
