Neil Blomkamp's Alien is Coming!! - CineFix Now

Neil Blomkamp has officially been attached to direct an “Alien” movie, in the wake of the (strategic?) release of some concept art by the District 9/Chappie director. Here’s hoping everything we loved about Alien will be back!

The movie is slated for release after Prometheus 2, which will be directed by OG Alien helmer Ridley Scott (who will also produce Blomkamp’s Aliens movie). Questions now abound: Where will this new film fall in the Aliens timeline? Will it contradict Alien 3 or Alien: Resurrection? Or will it follow the Prometheus movies?
