Description

They in a rhythm cling and see,
Thousand times the shore and the sea;

They wait only for a small wee
Then again they touch in glee;

With throats of tales come and meet
In their ways they smile and greet;

With thoughts of talks go and leave
In some time they come and cleave;

To the calm shore sea does whine,
“You are losing your flesh in sand mine;

See the turtle eggs have cracked
And the pretty corals too wracked;

When I fear or tire I always come to rest-
On you, the vast and soothing chest!

No more I can see you in this injury,
Let me with my waves try to bury;

If you wane like this shedding blood,
Who will stop, in fury when I flood? ”

Saying this with a heavy heart it goes
And dances hard to forget the woes;

Again in the rhythm they cling and see,
How many more, the shore and the sea? ...
