NDEPENDENCE DAY SHOOTING COMPETITION

INDEPENDENCE DAY SHOOTING COMPETITION HELD AT SSU HEADQUARTERS;
DIPLOMATIC CORPS AND PERSONNEL OF LEAs PARTICIPATED

Independence Day Shooting competition held on the occasion of 75th Independence Day at Special Security Unit (SSU) headquarters.

Diplomatic corps, LEAs and SSU Commandos including lady commando participated in the competition and exhibited their professional skills in the categories of Sharp Shooting (Time Bound) and Rapid Shooting (Male/Female).

Diplomatic corps from United States of America (USA), Russia, Japan, Britain, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia participated in the competition. Whereas, teams of Airport Security Force (ASF), Frontier Constabulary (FC), Special Security Unit (SSU), Rapid Response Force (RRF) and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Elite Police Training Centre (SBB, EPTC) participated from LEAs.

Overall, Special Security Unit (SSU) secured 1st position, Airport Security Force (ASF) secured 2nd position while US Consulate got 3rd position in the competition.

DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed was the chief guest of the event who lauded, felicitated the winner contenders and distributed prizes.

DIG Security said that there is no greater blessing in the world than freedom. The freedom fought for the great nation by the heroes of this country must be protected to all costs.

Later, the chief guest thanked all the participants of the event.
