NBC Execs Take Twitter Roles

Linda Yaccarino, who has previously overseen NBCUniversal's ad sales operation, is expected to become the CEO of Twitter, with her appointment scheduled for Monday. Yaccarino is said to have chosen Joe Benarroch, one of her top lieutenants, to join her at Twitter in a senior business operations role. Benarroch, who currently serves as Executive Vice President of Communications, Global Advertising, and Partnerships at NBCUniversal, expressed his excitement about the new opportunity and his intention to work with the entire team to build "Twitter 2.0." The addition of Yaccarino and Benarroch is seen as an effort to stabilize Twitter's business, which has faced challenges with advertisers due to content moderation concerns. Musk has stated that although Twitter is not yet profitable, he believes it could soon become cash-flow positive.
