Description of update:
-Earn rewards with daily objectives and Live Events
-Dazzle your opponents with alley-oops
-Tighten up your game with shot coaching and other feedback
-Throw down dunks with drive enhancement
-Get buckets with fewer turnovers and more forgiving blocks

Other improvements:
They’ve also totally given a new color scheme as well as a slightly different look to the setup/menu of the game.

New rookie promo is already out with a rookie lineup which EA might continue to keep making lineups for every promo as well as a countdown timer on every promo to tell you when it ends.
There are daily objectives and milestones for every promo.

Overall Grade:
This is a pretty nice kind of season reset that EA gave the game with a new look as well as hugely improved gameplay that makes playing live events, seasons, and head to head run much smoother than before.

It’s nice that they jumped right into promos and hopefully they can keep the promos coming. Although I don’t think it has gotten to the level that Madden Mobile has reached, it is a good version of it for the NBA.

Improvements for the Future:
This was a solid update that definitely improved the overall gameplay of the game and made it run much smoother and more fun to play, however there are some small improvements and adjustments that could definitely be made.

The biggest of them all, it would be nice if they would make live events shorter so you wouldn’t have to play a game for every live event. It makes grinding live events super long and gets really boring to do.

They should add more fouls into the game so you can shoot free throws as well as adding back court violation.
Finally, it would be nice if they added a fill set button like in madden mobile just for convenience

Overall, the update has made the game run smoother and I think will attract some old players who stopped playing to come back and play again.
