NAVET FLOODS

Another community which has been under water for days is Navet Village, in Rio Claro.

Homes that have never experienced flooding before saw up to 5 feet of water, with families losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in appliances and furniture.

The financial loss is similar amongst the farming community in this area.

Our Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh was in Navet on Tuesday and gives us a look at the situation over there.
