NATO needs Turkey’s strength

- Bush’s former adviser has written, ‘It’s time to kick terrorist Turkey out of NATO.’ Daniel Greenfield, who now works at the Freedom Center, wrote; ‘It’s time to kick terrorist Turkey out of NATO.’

 He said NATO was initially engineered to fight communism but over the years its function has changed. The latest challenge is terrorism and Turkey is cooperating with the terrorists, he said. He went on to cite Turkey’s collaboration with Iran and support of the Muslim Brotherhood as evidence for this.

What good will it do them if Turkey leaves NATO? All kind of problems will then visit them. If we get leave NATO, maybe they are planning to bully Turkey. They cannot do anything against it. Because the situation in the Middle East would then become very dangerous, and that would make Turkey thousands of times stronger. Since if any European country tries to intervene in Turkey, then China, Russia and Iran will engage in a counter-offensive. No country could risk that. In addition, Turkey has its own deterrent force all by itself. Turkey is very influential in the Turkic countries and the Islamic world. Removing Turkey from NATO would not be a threat to us. On the contrary, it would threaten them. They should rather be begging Turkey to stay in NATO.
