Nation at 9: Kerala Burqa Critic Hounded

A liberal Muslim's studio was razed to ground and he was issued a death threat after he made a ‘provocative’ statement on the use of Purdah. The victim confided that he was just pointing out the mishandling of ‘purdah’ in many immoral actions in the society.
After daring to pass his critique on regressive social norms in the Muslim community, a belligerent troupe of assailants marched in the studio and broke all the equipments before ultimately setting everything on fire.
