Nation at 9: Indrani confesses partially

Questioning the suspects in the Sheena Bora murder, officials in Mumbai Police were grappling with three versions of the killing provided by the three main suspects in their custody — each pointing a finger at the other.

While a senior police officer said that Sheena’s mother Indrani Mukerjea had “admitted” to her role in the killing inside a car, other officials said her driver Shyam Rai has claimed that she was helped by her former husband Sanjeev Khanna who, in turn, has passed the buck back to Mukerjea.
