when it is all to easy to follow
after darkness, follow after a little light.

even if it is in lower cased gestures,
gather a few before they wander to long.

bind up the wounded sons and daughters,
return them to their happier selves.

you can do it without even trying...

you can do it while making some
toast in the morning.

when it is all to easy to harbor a little anger,
learn to sail with a compassed heart full of healing.

gather balm in gilead and clear a few stones
from the path of those who stumble.
