Just let me be

Do you know how that hurts
Your telling my I'm worthless
And no good like dirt
I show no pain
But what is not seen
Is there
Why can't I be accepted
Wouldn't that be fair
I still bare the scars
Of what simple words can do
You wouldn't be happy
If I did it to you
So don't expect me
Not to care
When your words hurt
They rip and they tare
Consider when you speak
The emotions of others
Because the simplest words
Can pull them under
