Nate Flying Owl - Horrid Fiends

The lions are stalking me in the night
I see them before sleep overtakes me
And they always appear in my nightmares
Those monsters, horrid fiends
Haunting the dreams of all
Their amber eyes watching me with hunger
They bare their teeth with a fervent bloodlust
And they resound their unholy bellows
There is no love of God
Within those amber eyes
The huge lions are bearing down on me
I feel them eating away at my pride
By using my own voice to insult me
Those demonic creatures
Seek to possess my soul
As the lions draw closer, I can taste
The wretched stench of their breath in my bones
And I look to the heavens in sorrow
Praying for some release
Any chance of freedom
With these horrid fiends stalking my nightmares
I am haunted by their furious gaze
The scars the lions leave behind run deep
