There are monsters living among us
Disguised as you and me
Coldblooded and totally thoughtless
On tender hearts, they feed
They move around from place to place
In search of the lonely and weak
With no respect for the human race
They fool us with lies and deceit
They're sneaky and hide under clever masks
Using charm to gain our trust
We never even think to ask,
'Are you really one of us? '
So, pay attention when saying Hello
To whomever it is you meet
Protect yourself, cause you never know
If your heart they intend to eat
