"Natalie Pearson is making her mark on the Australian pop-country music scene, gaining attention for her emotive dynamic vocals, passion and drive, and girl-next-door charisma."
The first single off the 7 track EP, "Chance at Love", received the award for "Best Country" in the 2016 MusicOz Australian Independent Music Awards, which she performed on the main stage of the Enmore Theatre in October 2016 for the sold out red carpet event.
She also received a Top 5 nomination in both the Video and Female Artist of the Year categories.
‘Chance at Love’ ranked #4 on the AMRAP Regional Charts shortly after release, and is receiving airplay on KIX Country Network, National & Community radio and Foxtel’s Country Music Channel, along with recently released singles 'Don't Ask Me This' and 'Strangers'.
'Don't Ask Me This' became a fan favourite after it was featured on Spotify's "Fresh Country" playlist, and has been selected to be included in the soundtrack for Australian film 'The Fenian', due for release later this year.
Natalie was voted WA's RAW: Musician of the Year in 2015, and has since opened for notable country music industry names such as Travis Collins, Troy Kemp, Tori Darke, Matt Cornell, Casey Barnes, and Brook Chivell.
She also performed the pre-show entertainment at the Dixie Chicks Concert at Perth Arena on their recent Australian tour.
"Country Music is a genre like no other. I love the honesty, authenticity, and truth behind it... it's life.
It's living without fear of emotions; expressing vulnerability. It's real.
I hope to be able to connect with listeners with my own stories and truths, and blend it with pop-country influences to create something that is uniquely me, yet familiar and relatable".
