NASA Backs Squishable, Twistable Ball-Shaped Rover
Description
It looks like a children’s toy, but NASA wants to use it as a rover. The Super Ball Bot is reportedly crunchable, twistable, squishable and even bounces a bit. The idea is, NASA could more easily deploy these bots in hostile space environments.
