Living with a narcissist partner can be extremely traumatic as they completely devalue your emotions, display an arrogant self-centeredness, control your life and treat you like a need-satisfying object. They exploit your presence and also your absence. I often observe that contemporary narcissists rely heavily on social media to curate an unreal, megalomanic and picture-perfect image, gain admiration from the world and to get back at people who can see through their deception.
