Napoles hospitalized 2 weeks before testimony

MANILA - Janet Lim Napoles, the alleged mastermind in the pork barrel scam, was rushed to a hospital at dawn this morning after she experienced stomach pain, nausea and continuous vomiting. Napoles was transported to Southern Luzon Hospital in Santa Rosa, Laguna at 1:20 a.m. Doctors attributed her condition to stones in the ureter. Napoles' health stabilized after two hours. She was brought back to her detention cell in Fort Santo Domingo at 3:30 a.m. "Based on initial findings, na-attribute po itong pananakit ng tiyan at pagsusuka at paghihilo dun nga sa stone in the ureter. After test and treatment, the subject was immediately returned also in detention facility in Fort Santo Domingo.
