Waiting and waiting and waiting
for nothing
The most agonizing pain.
Time slips by and all hope is lost

The music is on and it pierces right through my heart
Wandering could this ever be?
How can it be?
Will it be more then what I have now?

My head hurts
My mind has been on overload
My eyes hurt from the tears
that wont fall
Doubt sets in
Will I ever have completeness?
God can do it
No one else can

As I sit here by MYSELF (always)
I realize no one can
To many things are happening in their lives
Excitement
Happiness
Joy
Sadness
Heartache
Pain
All at the same time

Do we enjoy making each other
miserable
Nothing good will come from this
Will it? Can it?
God I hope so!

Waiting as the minutes
fall into hours
The tears are closer now
Sadness has overtaken
I am tired!

As the early remnants of the day start to show
Anger sets in
Am I a last thought or
one that wants to be forgotten?
