Najib: I feel "vindicated" by PAC report
Description
Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak told the press on Tuesday that he felt exonerated by the Public Accounts Committee findings related to the RM19.4 bil GST refunds.
Last August, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng told Parliament that RM19.4bil had been “robbed” by the previous administration.
The PAC in its report said no money was missing from the GST refunds, but the refunds were used for government expenditure and development instead.
