Nadine Hock - Searching

I´m searching for the light,
but noone invented the fire for me,
and my hands are telling me lies,
about what´s coming next.
I´m searching for the light,
but I burned my hands and I´m afraid,
and my ears are telling me
to stop and to give in.
I´m searching for the light,
but it´s lost and forgotten,
and my feet are telling me,
that dead bodies are covering my way.
I´m searching for the light,
´cause noone told me that I´m blind.
