There was I time I thought
When everything was good
That he loved me
I loved him
And things were how they should.

Until one day he decides
To tell my friend a lie
But tell me its a joke
That didnt make sense
And for some time
It made me tense

So I returned his necklace
Gave it to my friend
Who told him
The relationship came to an end

So he became confused
As I'm feeling used
And now I cannot say
If I should break up with him today

I used to think he cared
But does he now?
He doesnt show it anymore
But I wish I knew somehow

He'd rather talk to other people
Other than me
Because he used to call me
At every moment possibly
But now when he
Can only talk for so long
He calls another
So I must have done something wrong

But what?
I ask myself
I gave all of me
But that must not be
Enough for he

Its very painful
When you've held on to it for so long
And you think to yourself now
What did I do wrong?

If I knew like this
That it would end
Then I still wonder
Why did I let it begin?

If he knew
For my sake
Hopefully,
He wouldn't have made
That heartbreaking mistake
