Myrtle Thomas - A Poet's View
0 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Oh to write! of beautiful things
of putting to pen what sight brings
and how a heart touches emotions feeling
and then a verse of adulteries stealing
How grand is a thought in a verse!
to write of bountiful blessings or pitiful curse
to hear a sound, or see a beautiful view
or have a grand privilege to write of you
A poet, a writer, a storyteller
that expresses in words to lady or feller
insights of the heart a voice is strong
for a writer to hold your attention for long
Soft in emotion, is a poet with love and insight
who seizes the moment in an instant to write
sensitive to instances of joy or remorse
but at times, writers block hinders the course
