I've found a single candle is all I need to read by, once night falls, and a generous amount of mosquito repellent keeps the little vampires at bay. Snakes have slithered past, possums wandered near, and things best left unseen have shuffled to and from the nearby graveyard - but that's just how it is in Elsewhere, Florida.
