Muslim scholars push for constitutional changes

33 Muslim scholars, consisting of mostly professors in various disciplines, have called on the government to set up a "high-powered committee" to review the federal constitution to recommend amendments to incorporate the needs of Muslims and entrench the rights of minorities, stressing that the constitution was not cast in stone.
