Musk Opposes Dogecoin Exchange Dependency

Elon Musk took to Twitter ($TWTR@US)—as he often does—to respond to a tweet about Dogecoin breaking away from cryptocurrency exchanges. Because Musk has been such a big supporter of Dogecoin, it stands to reason that he’s still talking about the token, and he’s also feuding with Binance, as reported previously. Musk believes that crypto exchanges are a breeding ground for hacking. Even as Dogecoin rises in prominence, becoming one of the most popular tokens in the world, it’s become a target of constant press and scorn. Yes, Musk loves the token, and he knows he can alter its value if he takes to Twitter once again. On the other hand, co-creator Billy Markus believes the coin shouldn’t be taken that seriously, and opinions are likely to remain mixed.
