Description
Elon Musk announced SpaceX and Tesla will build two advanced chip factories in Austin under the "Terafab" project — one powering Tesla vehicles and Optimus robots, the other supporting AI satellites. Musk says Terafab could produce 1 terawatt of computing capacity annually, more than double current U.S. output, though no timeline was given.
