Murray trial day nine, Schwarzenegger opens museum

On the ninth day of Conrad Murray's trial for involuntary manslaughter, coroner's investigator Elissa Fleak again took the stand. The defense has been challenging her investigation, suggesting she conducted a shoddy examination of the bedroom where Michael Jackson stopped breathing in 2009. Her questioning has been the defense's most forceful challenge since the trial began.
Organizers say that even though it's not yet sold out, 40,000 tickets have been purchased ahead of Saturday's (October 08) Jackson tribute concert in Wales. Although the concert has been mired in controversy and has had trouble securing A-list performers, it will go on as planned. Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Smokey Robinson are among performers, while Beyonce will sing via video link.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was on had in Austria for the opening of a museum dedicated to his life. Hundreds of fans turned up for the event. The museum is now home to mementoes including the first bodybuilding weights he used as a teenager and the desk from his governor's office in Sacramento, California.
Bono was in South Africa to celebrate the 80th birthday of Archbishop Desmond Tutu at a historic cathedral in Cape Town. The U2 frontman was joined by various political dignitaries - and shared some laughs with the former Nobel Peace Prize winner.
