Municipal electons set for 27 october

Local government elections will be held on the 27th of October. President Cyril Ramaphosa announced this last night. The EFF and the IFP wanted the elections postponed. The EFF said holding elections during the pandemic would put lives at risk and undermine democracy. But the IEC has insisted that it's ready to hold the polls, this year.
