Munia Khan - Someone

Lying in bed
Someone’s staring
At the ceiling
Thinking nothing
Nothing at all
For his mind is blank
As blank as an empty heart
And his hollow heart
Feels the aching void
A numb chillness
Spreads through
His veins of love
And the despair
Terrifies his memories


And she can't see
This ‘Someone’ anymore
For she’s staring
At the ceiling too
But in the darkness
Thinking nothing
Nothing at all
And her mind is blank
As blank as an empty heart
And her hollow heart
Can feel the aching void
The unrequited Love
Spreads through
All her numb veins
And the despair
Terrifies her everything
