Mumbai high tide alert

Huge tidal waves reaching upto 4.5 meters hit Mumbai's shores on Friday forcing the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to issue warning for the city residents. The civic agency is bracing itself to tackle all emergency as the weather department has predicted that the waves would continue till June 18.
Two days after huge tidal waves lashed Mumbai's shores, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has issued a high tide alert warning people not to go near the beaches. The MCGM has issued an advisory for Mumbaikars instructing them to keep away from the shores which are expected to be hit by huge tidal waves of upto 5 metres at 2 pm today.
