Multi-cornered fight expected in Tanjong Datu by-election
Description
The Tanjong Datu by-election in Sarawak will likely see at least a three-cornered fight between the state Barisan Nasional (BN) and two Opposition parties: STAR and PBDS Baru. PKR, DAP, PAS and Amanah have confirmed they will not contest in the by-election. The Tanjong Datu state seat fell vacant when the late Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem died from heart complications on Jan 11.
