The Supreme Court yesterday (Nov 14)named Srinivasan, his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan, Rajasthan Royals owner Raj Kundra, cricket administrator Sundararaman, who were probed by the Justice Mudgal committee which had found "some misdemanour by certain persons" and indicted them in the IPL6 scam. Reading out from the report, a bench headed by Justice T S Thakur disclosed these names but said the identity of theplayers should not not be made public at this stage. "They should be left out for now". It also ordered that supply of relevant portions of the report to the four named so that they can file their objections within four days of receipt of the report. Full disclosure of the names in IPL fixing report is being postponed to Monday (Nov 17). While with voices of dissent are growing against BCCI, the board has called for an emergency meeting on Nov 18 to seek legal advice and decide on the next course of action.
