Description

If I should die, let me die amongst the people that I love
So that my soul may be portrayed as a peaceful dove
Let me die in a way that those who bear my blood shall not look to the ground in shame
But will march on and triumph in my name
If I should die let me not die running
Let me die defeated as a mortal and let me die fighting
But let me die having defeated my demons and enemies so that they shall kneel at my blood
Let me not die in pity having my name dragged through mud
Let me not die in glory alone but let me die with the respect that I gained from my people
If I should die, let my existence not be in vain
Let me kiss love once more so that I’d not die because my heart stopped from pain
On the day that I leave this earth
Let me die a noble death
