Ms. American Dream ... - Islam

I pray to Allah every night
I ask him to forgive me
to make things right
I say 'Allah I have too many sins,
and I keep doing them again and again'


When I was at juvey I read the bible to pass the time
I compared it to the Koran and learned are a lot alike
both books talk about how the world began
about Adam and Eve
Noah and Abraham


In your book the Koran you say pray five times a day
you gave the world to Muhammad page by page
we believe they are Allahs words to help us do well
nobody wants to end up in hell


Muhammad is the last of the prophets
he went to heaven where now his soul rests
he rests in heaven above
he told us of Allahs goodness and love


I pray five times a day after I wash my hands and face
as you said in the Koran
then I kneel in a clean place
I tell him 'God almighty, they think jesus is you're son,
still give them faith, though I know your the only one'


You put two angels on my shoulder the day I was born
both the good and the bad, they do record
I know I keep one busy
probably enough to make him dizzy


When after my death the angels come to ask
'what have you done? '
I will say 'oh holy angels, i have done none'
the angels will ask 'who is you're God? '
and from my eyes tears will drop


Every night when I go to sleep
I think about all the wrong I have done
some people think religion takes away all the fun,
no tattoo's, drugs, or alchohal are allowed in Islam
but we can help the poor and try to get along
