Mr Probz breaks 40-year old music industry model

Dutch hip-hop artist Mr. Probz has taken an exceptional route towards a gold record in the United States. It was online streaming service Spotify in particular that brought his song Waves, remixed by German DJ Robin Schulz, to the attention of the American public. "Spotify is helping artists cross borders without the intent of the standard music industry model. The order of events that we're used to for the past forty years is changing rapidly, radio needs to follow Spotify as opposed to Spotify following radio."
