MP BODOE: MOH NEEDS TO DO MORE

Fyzabad MP Dr. Lackram Bodoe is calling on the Minister of Health to pump greater resources into the Insect Vector Control department, so that it can better tackle the current surge in dengue cases.

Two weeks ago, a teenaged girl from his constituency died after contracting dengue.

The MP who is also a medical doctor says, while people have a responsibility to clean their surroundings, the Ministry needs to ensure spraying, surveillance and other preventative measures are taken.
