Australians wake up to the news that a 16-hour siege inside a Sydney cafe ended overnight with three people dead, including the attacker. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Mourning in Sydney as Australians try to come to terms in the aftermath of a deadly siege in which three were killed. The attacker was among the fatalities.

Overnight Australian police stormed a Sydney cafe freeing hostages held at gunpoint, in a dramatic end to a 16-hour siege.
