Now Nepal is warning anyone climbing beyond base camp that they will have to bring at least eight kilos of rubbish back down – in addition to their own – or face legal action.
Mount Everest has been climbed by more than 4,000 people
since the historic ascent in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary and
Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
