Mount Etna Volcano Rocked by Strong Eruptions

Italy’s Mount Etna volcano became active on January 23 and Strombolian</a> or episodic explosions have rocked its southeast crater. Geologist Boris Behncke captured this video of lava fountains and explosions during the night of Monday, February 27.
