Moth Harris - Dr. Suess and Poe

I look up to dark skies
and wonder why I can't see through
To you I seem blue
I'm not another fly caught in glue
It's true sometimes I see
Sad thoughts that branch like a tree
In my rhyme scheme I may seem
To dream like Dr. Suess and Poe
What you don't know will go
on and show that I'm not at all that cold.
There is no raven rapping at my door
Nor are there green eggs and ham
Please understand sad thoughts are not all I am.
